Transportation by air

Helsinki-Vantaa airport is rated as one of the world's best airports. There are direct flight connections from most European capitals as well as excellent intercontinental connections.

Transportation by sea

Helsinki is easily reached by ferry from Stockholm, Sweden (overnight journey) and Tallinn, Estonia (90-120 minutes).

Airport bus and trams

The airport busses runs between the airport and Helsinki city centre. At the airport, the bus stops are situated in front of the terminals.

You can take a Finnair City Bus to the downtown Helsinki. For timetables go to Finnair's website. One-way ticket for adults cost 6,20 €.

• You can also take a public transportation to the city centre. Busses 615/ 615T/ 615TK/ 615V/ 615VK. Final stop is at the main railway station in Helsinki. Journey time is appr. 35 minutes. For timetables go to HSL´s website. One-way fare for adults costs 4,00€.

The conference venue is situated appr. 5 minutes walking distance from the Helsinki main railway station.

Trams 4, 7 and 10 stop at Mannerheimintie next to Finlandia Hall (National Museum's stop).

Airport taxis

The taxi journey from the airport to the centre of Helsinki takes nearly half an hour and costs about 35-40 €. The taxi stations are located right outside the arrival areas of the terminals.
